Psp Update Version 2.00 Now Available Through Website
Sony has now released the official North American release of its much anticipated 2.00 Update on their website. The update includes a multitude of new features including a web browser. The update can also be reached by using the built-in psp system update which uses wifi.
If you updated to the Japanese 2.0 first, then you are out of luck, it says you have the latest version. No one knows yet if you are screwed or if the next us firmware will be updatable on your US PSP.
Great! Thanks Sony! Supposedly there are no differences between the US and Japan 2.0 firmware, so oh well…

Gmail Open to Public
Starting today, invites are no longer needed to get a Gmail account. In a separate announcement, Google says it will take the wraps off the service for users in the U.S. Gmail will be open and free to U.S. users.
